wonderland april/may 2010: boys vs boygirls and the return of femme menswear, mandrogyny and gender-bending fashions
So last month The Sartorialist ran a post titled, “Are We Ready To Discuss Skirt Lengths For Men?”, at NYFW DSquared2 got massive image-led editorial coverage from lead-singer of Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz in an outfit that you’d be more likely to see on Gaga, Galliano’s boy-corsets were rocking the runway and of course, H&M sold out of their man-skirts and kilts in record time this season.
It definitely looks like 2010 is set to re-ignite the femme menswear, mandrogynous and gender-bending fashions of the 80s bubbling back into the mainstream, and this is being supported by some awesome editorial from the April/May 2010 issue of Wonderland magazine, and let’s not forget…Adam Lambert.
